The FIU Student Ambassadors raise awareness and necessary funds to support FIU students through the Panther Protection-Paying it Forward Fund, which serves as a safety net for FIU students — it is the student emergency fund of FIU. This fund existed before the pandemic and has helped thousands of students who may have encountered unexpected, unforeseen, and unavoidable emergency expenses surrounding situations such as accidents, illness, death of a family member, fire damage or need for temporary housing.
